MRO-PRO version MP7 has just been released and includes a brand new Messaging platform and Read & Signs function
Messaging is available in the latest APP (Android and iOS) and the WEB-APP desktop versions of MRO-PRO. It’s quick and intuitive to use and replaces emails, which can be troublesome in MROs.
Emails can be a troublesome form of communication in MROs as staff are often not desk based and are not constantly monitoring their inbox. Therefore, emails get missed or read later than would be ideal. Further, a lack of traceability makes it hard for managers to determine exactly which staff have read their important email.
MRO-PRO messaging is quick, intuitive and mobile (APP) and desktop (WEB-APP) based. Messages reach staff in the location they are working. Whether that is the aircraft, the workshop or their desktop, messages reach users instantly on the device they are using to perform their work. Further, managers can quickly check read receipts to see exactly who has read and not read their important messages.
The Read & Sign function works off the back of the messaging system, however, adds an additional ‘sign’ layer where staff must confirm the message and any attachments have been read. Important General, Safety, Continuation, or Airline messages can be issued to groups of staff based on approval, job group, or base and easily tracked to ensure they have been read and demonstrate compliance.
The existing User Compliance Dashboard has also been expanded to track Read & Signs. The dashboard quickly highlights User Compliance issues making it easy for managers to follow up as an where required.
Messaging and Read & Signs through MRO-PRO will positively impact communication in the organisation and therefore, safety within the MRO. They are a helpful new addition to the already expansive set of functions and tools MRO-PRO contains to help MROs manage their business.
Version MP7 of MRO-PRO contains no less than a dozen key new features, of which, a number have been driven by user based suggestion. MP7 demonstrates the continued dedication to the development and enhancement of MRO-PRO in the service of making its clients smarter and safer MROs.
